What EoU Analysis Involves

For each patent claim being charted, we conduct technical analysis of the accused product: reviewing publicly available documentation (product manuals, datasheets, FCC filings, standards certifications, academic papers by product team members, patent applications from the accused company covering the same product), identifying which product features implement which claim elements, and documenting the mapping with specific technical evidence for each element.

The output is a claim chart — a structured table mapping each claim element to documented product evidence, with source citations and technical explanations for each mapping. The quality of the claim chart directly determines the strength of a licensing demand letter. A vague mapping is easy to dispute; a precise, technically grounded mapping with specific evidence for each limitation changes the negotiation dynamics fundamentally.
